A middle-aged woman simply
identified as Chioma from Agwa in Oguta local government area of Imo
State was yesterday stripped naked for allegedly stealing a 12-month-old
old baby boy from where he was kept by the mother at a motor park.
The suspect, LEADERSHIP gathered, had noticed that the baby’s mother had left him to buy sachet water and immediately grabbed the boy before but luck ran out on him as vigilant passengers at the park noticed her and retrieved the baby.
Those at the place then stripped her of her clothes before giving her a thorough beating, leaving her unconscious. They revived her by pouring cold water on her face after which they handed her over to the police.
