The statement acredited to both
Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State and DG PDP Presidential Campaign
Organisation, Femi Fani-Kayode on the health of the APC’s presidential
candidate, Gen. Muhammad Buhari has continued to elicit reactions as an
NGO in the APC campaign train has described the statement as
unfortunate, unwarranted and highly provocative.
In a statement signed by the national coordinator, Buhari Volunteers Network (BVN), Comrade Olayemi Success and made available to newsmen, it said despite the attacks and hate campaigns against Buhari, he continued to receive the support of Nigerians because they desired change.
He said the way Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State and Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, are going about their campaign shows that they have lost touch with realities, urging them to engage Nigerians on issues and not blackmail as that is now old fashioned.
He said, “The comment of Fani-Kayode on the campaign rally of APC in Borno State is rather unfortunate.
