The couple have been plagued by recent speculation that their 16-year-old marriage is on the rocks, with The Sun claiming the two are living ‘increasingly separate lives’, and that Victoria is ‘unhappy’ with Becks’ choice of friends.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Behind the scenes there appears to be a lot of tension. Victoria is very tired and stressed from working so hard whereas David has a much more relaxed attitude now he is retired.
“They have had monumental four-letter rows as the tension between them snaps and they explode at each other. Victoria has probably always been a bit insecure, whereas David is brimming with confidence. So sometimes it’s a clash and their rows get very heated.
“Normally they would kiss and make up by spending time as a family, but they are rarely in the same country together. What does really keep their bond strong is their devotion to their children. They are both brilliant parents.”
However, David has shared a photo and a lovely message supporting his wife, showing that their relationship is stronger than ever.
Sharing the photo above, he wrote: “Proud of my wife today speaking at the UN Head quarters … Powerful speech along with some other incredible and powerful women on that stage … Right to the point about Our fight against HIV / AIDS.”
