© Alec Tabak/for New York Daily News Walter Miller, a.k.a. Bobby Love is arraigned in State Supreme Court A Brooklyn dad due to be sent back to North Carolina after escaping from prison there nearly 40 years ago — starting a law abiding life in the city — will have another month in the Big Apple.

Bobby Love, whose real name is Walter Miller, was brought before a Manhattan judge Friday and was arraigned on his extradition warrant.
The 64-year-old married father of four will remain at Rikers Island until June 5 while his attorney reviews the paperwork.
Love will ask for clemency when he is returned to serve the remaining years of his sentence for bank robberies in Greensboro.
His family and attorney say he was rehabilitated on his own through hard work and devotion to home life.
