Justin Bieber Pleads Guilty To Assault In ATV Crash And Fight Case

 

Justin Bieber has pleaded guilty to assault and careless driving, stemming from him crashing his ATV into a paparazzo’s minivan last September in Stratford, Ontario, and then subsequently fighting with the photographer.
As Gossip Cop reported at the time, Bieber was arrested for the confrontation. On Thursday, the singer offered his plea via Skype from his lawyer’s office in L.A.
As Gossip Cop noted after the incident, Bieber was with Selena Gomez when they smashed into the paparazzo’s minivan. The singer and his attorney put the blame on the paparazzi who were following him. His lawyer Roy Black said then, “While the public is not particularly sympathetic, they must realize how difficult these cameramen make their lives,” “I am not surprised there is a conflict. It happens quite often, and as long as the paparazzi are highly paid for their photographs, they will continue.”
In exchange for pleading guilty to assault and careless driving, Bieber was slapped with just a fine of $750. There’s no jail time, probation or even community service. When asked if he wanted to comment during the sentencing, Bieber said, “No, ma’am.” The judge then told Bieber at the end of the proceedings, “The lesson in all of this is to think before you act in the future.”
